World Darts Championship betting odds: Rod Harrington backs James Wade to breeze past Ronny Huybrechts

Darts legend is backing James 'The Machine' Wade to win, score the most 180s and land the highest checkout at 11/8

Rod Harrington believes James Wade will fly through his match tonight against Ronny Huybrechts.

The Machine is up against the brother of Kim Huybrechts and Rod is confident it'll be one-way traffic.

Harrington has teamed up with William Hill to give readers his expert insight throughout the tournament.

And he's tipping Wade for a treble of triumphs this evening at Alexandra Palace by backing him to win, score the most 180s and land the highest checkout at 11/8 .

Sky Sports pundit Rod said: "Wade is called 'The Machine' for one reason. I think he's going to win this quite convincingly. It's the William Hill treble for me on James Wade v Ronny Huybrechts."

Rod has also given his verdict on the Zoran Lerchbacher v Simon Stevenson clash. He said: "Stevenson came through the qualifiers and you have to be a decent player to come through that so I'm going for Stevenson over the Austrian."

You can back Stevenson to win at William Hill here at 4/9 .

His final pick of the night is for Mensur Suljovic v Ron Meulenkamp , with Rod predicting a win for Mensur at 2/9 .

He said: "Meulenkamp had a great TPC beating Gary Anderson and Stephen Bunting. However, Mensur Suljovic is the most improved player on the professional circuit. He really is a toughie."
