Noppert to Win 3-0
Danny Noppert is ranked inside the top seven in the world at the moment and won the UK Open last year. He’s had a steady year so far and picked up a couple of ranking titles. He also made the semi-finals of the European Championship a couple of months ago.
He takes on Scott Williams who hasn’t really been ripping up trees. He won his opener against Haruki Muramatsu, but there weren’t really any fireworks in that one. I’m going to go for Danny Noppert to Win 3-1 in this second round tie.
9:15pm – Gabriel Clemens v Man Lok Leung
Clemens to Win 3-2
Last year’s semi finalist Gabriel Clemens set German darts alight getting into the final four last season. They had record viewing figures in Germany as millions tuned in to watch him. He’ll be really inspired by that again in my opinion.
He takes on Hong Kong’s Man Lok Leung, who was sensational here a few days ago. He stole the show on the same night Gerwyn Price made his long-awaited return to the Palace. This tie might be a step too far though. While it might be close, I’m going for Clemens to Win 3-2.

This looks like a Damon Heta treble. I fancy him to win, fire in the most 180s (he’s in the top 10 for 180 hits this year on the PDC Tour) and produce 1 or more 100+ Checkout.
