World Darts Championship: Underdog James Wade worth a punt to win first title?

After three nine dart finishes, big names bowing out to COVID-19 and Gerwyn Price eliminated, we are close to crowning a new world champion.

The semi-finals of the World Darts Championship take place at the Alexandra Palace tonight. James Wade is the favourite to win the title.

Michael Smith defeated World No.1 Gerwyn Price 5-4 to reach the World Darts Championship semi-finals. He will play James Wade, who is seeded at five and has lost only one set on his way to the semi finals.

Peter Wright beat debutant Callan Rydz 4-2 on a tie-break in the opening match of the World Darts Championship. Gary Anderson beat Luke Humphries 5- 2 to reach the last four for the seventh time. He will play Wright in a repeat of last year's final. The bookies fancy Wright to win the tournament.
