Wrestler turned jockey who was 'almost killed' in race banned for fighting with rival

Nik Juarez was racing at Monmouth Park racecourse in the US. He was involved in a scuffle with Paco Lopez after his horse cut off Juarez's ride. Juares was banned for eight days and fined £422. Lopez was given a five-day ban. The other jockey was punched three times by Irad Ortiz Jr in March 2021. The incident was after another controversial move from Lopez.
