Xavier vs Indiana: 2022-23 college basketball game preview, TV schedule

Indiana started the season at number 13 in the AP Poll. The Hoosiers haven't been ranked as high as 13 for almost six years. Indiana will play Xavier at Cintas Center in Cincinnati.

Jack Nunge and Zach Freemantle are the frontcourt for Indiana. Trayce Jackson-Davis, Race Thompson, and Malik Reneau are good back-to-the-basket threats. Rneau is averaging 12 points per game. Nunger and Freemantel are combining for nearly 34 points a game for the Hoosiers.

Xavier and Indiana are both playing well to start the season. Xavier's guards have been playing extremely well. The game could be a good tune-up game for Xavier before the PK85 next week. Indiana has a lighter non-conference schedule. The Hoosier fans would like to see more efficient play from their point guard, but he hasn't been very efficient. For Xavier, playing this game at home and the ability to match up with Indiana’s frontcourt is what could get it done for them.
