Xeka, Ryan Thomas: 5 free agents Arsenal could sign to replace Elneny

Mohamed Elneny is out until the new year with a long-term injury. Thomas Partey is also injured and is set to return this weekend. Mikel Arteta needs to find a replacement for Eleneny. Newcastle United and Wolves have already signed players from the free agent pool.

Xeka is the highest-rated free agent midfielder yet to sign for a new club since being released by LOSC Lille this summer. The Portuguese midfielder played a key role in Christoph Galtier's 2021 Ligue 1 title win with the French underdogs. Xeka would be an ideal free-agent signing for Arsenal to replace Elneny.

Nemanja Radoja is a free agent and could be a short-term replacement for Elneny at Arsenal. Radaja played for Levante in La Liga since 2014.

Ryan Thomas was released by PSV Eindhoven this summer. The New Zealand international has 18 caps and can play as a left-winger, out on the right and even at fullback. Thomas is versatile and would be perfect for Arsenal.

Filip Bradaric is a free agent after leaving Al-Ahli this month. The 31-year-old is the 2018 FIFA World Cup finalist and product of Hajduk Split academy. Braderic would be a good replacement for Elneny at Arsenal.

Leo Sena is a 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder. He was released by Goias earlier this month. Edu Gaspar is the technical director of Arsenal.
