York races Ladies Day full results: Hot favourite Snowfall wins the Yorkshire Oaks

Aidan O'Brien's Snowfall justified her short odds in the Darley Yorkshire Oaks on Thursday. Other winners included Michael Owen's Ever Given and Harrow

Snowfall was once again in a league of her own as she raced away with the Group 1 Darley Yorkshire Oaks.

Sublime in the English and Irish version, she was sent off the 8-15f for the hat-trick.

Ryan Moore asked the daughter of Deep Impact for her effort early in the straight and the response was definitive, as she left her rivals trailing.

Albaflora gave chase, but could only get to within four lengths by the winning post.

Winning trainer Aidan O'Brien said: "She quickens very well and now she’s laid back, she’s starting to really thrive and put on weight.

“She’s going to be really ready for the autumn, I think."

Snowfall is 5-2 with Paddy Power for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and O’Brien added: “We’d be very happy to take in another run, I’d imagine. It depends what the lads want to do – whether they want to go to an Arc trial or go straight to the Arc."
