The Los Angeles Rams won the NFC West in 2021 with a 12-5 record. They return all their key players from last season except Von Miller, who signed with the Bills. Matthew Stafford will continue to play quarterback for the Rams. Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, Van Jefferson and Cam Akers will play at wide receiver. Darrell Henderson will return at running back. The defense takes a hit with Miller's departure, but Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey are still good players.
The San Francisco 49ers were good last season, finishing 10-7 and reaching the playoffs. Trey Lance will take over for Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback. The 49er's coaching philosophy will remain the same.
Arizona Cardinals were the second place finisher in the NFC West last season. Christian Kirk left for Jacksonville and Deandre Hopkins is suspended for six games for PED usage. The Cardinals will return an above average defensive unit and will be competitive in NFC W.
The Seattle Seahawks traded Russell Wilson this offseason. They will start either Drew Lock or Geno Smith at quarterback. The team has a good wide receiving corps and running backs. However, the quarterback play will be a huge limitation.
