Bengals vs. Jaguars line, odds and predictions: Our experts like Jacksonville on “Monday Night Football”

The Athletic has live coverage of Bengals vs Jaguars on Monday Night Football.

The final game of Week 13 features two teams headed in opposite directions when the Cincinnati Bengals head south for a “Monday Night Football” matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bengals, losers of three straight games, will enter as heavy underdogs on the road against a Jaguars team coming off back-to-back wins.

Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville. The game will air on ESPN and ABC.

What was scheduled to be a primetime battle between former No. 1 overall picks Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence will instead feature an undrafted, relatively inexperienced quarterback in Jake Browning, who’s filling in as the Bengals’ starting quarterback after Burrow was lost for the season to a wrist injury.

As a result, Trevor Lawrence’s Jaguars are big favorites to pick up a ninth win on the season. As favorable as everything sets up for the Jaguars to continue on their upward trajectory, it should be mentioned that all three of their losses this season have come at home.

Cincinnati’s offense is without its quarterback, and its defense allows the league’s second-most yards per game (389.3). Without Burrow, it’s easy to question how the Bengals find enough offensive production to stay in Monday’s game.

Jacksonville is 8-3 against the spread, while the Bengals are 4-6-1.
