Big and getting bigger: Cheltenham Festival dominates top betting races

Cheltenham Festival accounted for 25 of the top 40 betting races with Ladbrokes Coral in 2018. Randox Health Grand National remained at the head of rankings. The Magners Cheltenha Gold Cup came ahead of Investec Derby in the race for second place. Trull House Stud Mares' Novices' Hurdle came into the list at number 29. The Investedec Oaks plummeted to 36th spot. Only three of 28 races not in top40 featured in list. All seven Chelteham Gold Cups on the same day are in Top 32.

The Lily Agnes at Chester's May meeting is David Baxter's favourite betting race. Lewis Porteous's favorite is the Grand Annual at Cheltenham Festival.
