Buffalo Bills Betting Lines: Preview, Odds, Spreads, Win Total, and More

The Buffalo Bills enter 2023 with the third-shortest odds to win the Super Bowl, trailing the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Buffalo is favored yet again to win the AFC East for the fourth year in a row, although the division will be more competitive this season, with the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins each projected to be playoff contenders.

Last season’s roster is largely intact, as the Bills had a relatively quiet offseason, outside of some noise between Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs’ relationship. But they’re firmly expected to be in Super Bowl contention once again. Want to bet on the Bills this season? Take advantage of one of these sportsbook offers below before doing so.

Buffalo Bills Offense

This Bills’ offense is mostly the same unit from a year ago, with a couple of exceptions, most notably TE Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo’s first-round draft pick. Kincaid gives Allen another option in the passing game, with the versatility to play in the slot and out wide.

Adding another pass catcher was crucial to an offense that was top-heavy in this area a year ago. Kincaid’s presence should help further bolster an offense that was eighth in passing yards per game a year ago.

The Bills also made slight changes to their running back room as well. Devin Singletary left in free agency, and they added Patriots RB Damien Harris and the Broncos’ Latavius Murray. Expect second-year running back James Cook, however, to lead Buffalo in carries this season.

Buffalo Bills Defense

The Bills made a change at defensive coordinator after a disappointing home playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Divisional Round, parting ways with DC Leslie Frazier after six years at the helm.

Now, head coach Sean McDermott will be calling plays defensively. McDermott has had tremendous success in this role, most notably as the Carolina Panthers’ DC, including during their Super Bowl run in 2015.

With a healthy Von Miller and Tre’Davious White this season, expect this Bills defense to be one of the most dominant in all of football and perhaps better than last season’s unit that was sixth in yards per game allowed.

One Betting Trend To Know

In the five times the Bills have been an underdog of three points or fewer in the past three seasons, the over has hit every time.

Best Bet for the Bills in 2023

Wingo: The Bills have owned the AFC East the last three seasons ..and have won at least 10 games and made the playoffs the last four. But, in 2023, the road to repeat is going to be significantly harder.

What used to be a cakewalk to the AFC East every year for New England in the glory days of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. However, it now appears to be a barefoot walk across hot coals for Buffalo.

Aaron Rodgers has brought new life and plenty of new weapons to the Jets…and if Miami can keep Tua Tagovailoa on the field, no offense in the NFL — let alone the AFC East — may have more firepower.

It’s weird to think that these days the Patriots are by far four out of four heading into the regular season, but that’s the reality in 2023. The win total for the Bills this year is 10.5… but there are questions.

Is there really a No. 2 WR in Buffalo after not signing DeAndre Hopkins? What does Von Miller have left after that season-ending injury in November 2022? Do the Bills have a running attack that doesn’t include Josh Allen? And perhaps more importantly….can Josh avoid the turnovers that came in bunches for him at bad times last season?

I think Buffalo will win 10 games this season.. but I do like the Bills under at 10.5 wins.
