The Buffalo Bills once again enter the 2023 NFL season as the favorite in the 2023 AFC East odds and a Super Bowl 58 contender.

With training camp here, it’s time to review our 2023 Buffalo Bills odds, including AFC East best bets, and Damar Hamlin and Josh Allen props.

2023 Buffalo Bills best bets: Expert picks for NFL futures odds

The Buffalo Bills won a third consecutive AFC East Division title in 2022 but fell flat in the playoffs with a 27-10 divisional round home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bills’ path to a four-peat and a return to the playoffs will be more challenging in 2023. Let’s take a look.

2023 AFC East odds: Buffalo Bills (+130 or better)

The Buffalo Bills return as AFC East odds favorites after finishing 13-3 in 2022. The Bills offseason had some drama, with Stefon Diggs choosing not to attend OTAs and the first day of mandatory minicamp.

Diggs and the team have reportedly cleared the air, however. The Bills will need a happy Diggs to continue to reign in a division that got much more competitive in 2023.

The New York Jets made a splash with the addition of four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. The longtime Green Bay Packers signal caller will pair with Garrett Wilson, the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2022, to lead a potentially high-powered Jets offense.

The Miami Dolphins also expect to contend with the return to health of QB Tua Tagovailoa, whose 2022 season was interrupted by concussions. He’ll have the league’s most explosive wide receiver duo at his disposal in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Even as the division has improved, the Bills are rightly considered the AFC East best bet to repeat. Beyond that, the Bills are third in the 2024 Super Bowl betting odds, behind the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

2023 NFL MVP odds: Josh Allen (+750 or better)

Josh Allen is once again expected to be in the thick of the NFL MVP race in 2023.

The Bills quarterback will need to cut down on turnovers to finally break through to win the award. Allen, who finished third in 2022 NFL MVP voting and second in 2020, threw 14 interceptions last season.

A league-high five of those INTs came in the red zone. Allen also fumbled 13 times, losing five.

Allen will have a chance to make an impression on voters with the Bills’ three-week stretch against fellow MVP contenders.

The Bills face the Jets (Aaron Rodgers) on Nov. 19, the Eagles (Jalen Hurts) on Nov. 26 and the Chiefs (Patrick Mahomes) on Dec. 10.

2023 NFL futures odds: Damar Hamlin to win NFL Comeback Player of the Year (-300 or better)

Everybody loves a comeback story. Damar Hamlin would be difficult to beat in 2023.

The 25-year-old Bills safety, who suffered a cardiac arrest and had to be revived on the field during a Jan. 2 Monday Night Football game, participated in offseason practices with the Bills after being fully cleared to return to football activities.

Hamlin’s inspirational return to football makes him the runaway betting favorite to win the NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award. Hamlin will compete in his first live contact drills in training camp since his frightening injury.
