Chantry House suffers neck injury in Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby

Chantry House suffered a neck injury in Rowland Meyrick Chase at Wetherby on Monday. Nicky Henderson has trained Chantry to win the Marsh Novices' Chase and Cotswold Chase. He had better Boxing Day luck with Constitution Hill at Kempton and Steal A March at Wincanton. Henderson intends to give Steal a March his next start at the Cheltenham Festival.

Shan Blue ran poorly on his return at Wetherby. It was his first visit to the track since falling in the Charlie Hall Chase in 2021. Shan Blue is back at Dan Skelton's yard in Warwickshire. Ballygrifincottage is set to run in next month's Grade 2 Hampton Novices' Chase at Warwick. He missed Tuesday's Kauto Star at Kempton. Bilygriffincott is a best-priced 16-1 for the Brown Advisory Novice's Chase.
