Cheltenham Festival: Echoes In Rain backed for the County Hurdle

Echoes In Rain is not a contender for the Champion Hurdle title. Willie Mullins' mare has disappointed this season. She is expected to run in the feature race on the opening day of this year's Cheltenham.

Echoes In Rain finished behind Sharjah in the Morgiana Hurdle in November. Ruby Walsh believes she should be targeted at the County HURDLE. Trainer Mullins has Appreciate It and Shar Jah as his main Champion Hurder rivals. The Champion and Mares’ Hursle are off. The County Hurdle might be a different story. Paddy”s top trader Frank Hickey thinks the Champion Hurder is off too.
