Dublin Racing Festival tips: Peter O'Hehir's selections for day two at Leopardstown

Reigning champion Honeysuckle is favourite to win the Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle in Leopardstown today. Kenny Alexander’s daughter of Sulamani has won the last two renewals of the race. She has an untarnished record in 13 races, including nine at Grade 1 level. The mare will try to emulate Istabraq (1998, ‘99, 2000 and 2001) and Hurricane Fly (2011 - 2015) as the only horses to have won this race more than twice. Willie Mullins withdrew Appreciate It yesterday, runs two horses, Saint Roi and Echoes In Rain.

Chacun Pour Soi is expected to complete a hat-trick in today's Ladbrokes Dublin Chase. Willie Mullins-trained ten-year-old didn't travel well and finished fifth in the Tingle Creek at Sandown. Paul Townend will be back on board and he will compete against Greaneteen tomorrow. Galopin Des Champs will focus attention in Grade 1 Lad brokkes Novice Chase, in which he'll face four Grade one winners.
