Cheltenham Festival: View the declared runners for day two

Shishkin and Energumene are among eight runners for the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham on Wednesday. Willie Mullins will run Enerumne's stablemate Chacun Pour Soi. Last year's winner Put The Kettle On is also running. The Dan Skelton-trained Nube Negra, Envoi Allen, Politologue, Mrs. Ricci, Henry de Bromhead Ireland, One For Luck Racing Syndicate, Paul Nicholls, Harry Cobden, and Aidan Coleman are also in the field.

Sir Gerhard is the favourite for the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham. Journey With Me, Haxo, Whatdeawant, Stage Star, Hemlock, I Am Maximus, Scarface and Three Stripe Life are the other runners. Cheveley Park director Richard Thompson revealed late last week that the race was the favoured option. The home team is headed by the Paul Nicholls-trained Stage star.

Nicholls ace Bravemansgame and Lucinda Russell’s stable star Ahoy Senor renew rivalry in the Brown Advisory Novices” Chase. Nicholls has a second string to his bow in Threeunderthrufive, while L‘Homme Presse is stepped up to an extended three miles for the first time by Venetia Williams. Mullins runs both Capodanno and Gaillard Du Mesnil.

The Bosses Oscar (Elliott) heads a maximum field of 26 for the Coral Cup. Leading hopes include The Shunter (Mullins), Saint Felicien (Elliot) and Unexpected Party (Dan Skelton). Good Risk At All (Sam Thomas) is first reserve.

Tiger Roll is set to be retired after Glenfarclas Chase. Gordon Elliott's horse is aiming for his fourth win in this cross-country event and sixth Festival victory overall under Davy Russell. Delta Work, Prengarde and Shady Operator are his stablemates. Alpha des Obeaux, Back On The Lash, Brahma Bull, Diesel d'Allier, The French Link, Poker Party, Potters Corner, Mr A. Halsall, Henry de Bromhead, Mark Bradstock, Nico de Boinville, and Step Back are the other horses.

Johnny Henderson Grand Annual is declared for day two of Cheltenham Festival. Sky Pirate is the first runner.
