Rachael Blackmore won the Ruby Walsh Trophy at last year's Cheltenham Festival. She rode six winners on her way to claiming the Top Jockey gong.

Blackmore, 32, will be chasing more success at Cheltenham Festival 2022. She is expected to have a brilliant book of rides for trainer Henry de Bromhead. Willie Mullins is also expected. Closutton’s leading rider Paul Townend is the favourite in Paddy Power”s Chelteham festival Top Jockey betting market.

Townend's book of rides could include Allaho, Facile Vega, Galopin Des Champs, Sir Gerhard, Stattler and Vauban. Davy Russell won plaudits for his ride on Conflated in the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup. Jack Kennedy rode four winners at last year's Festival including Minella Indo in Cheltenham Gold Cups. Nico de Boinville is the leading British jockey in Paddys betting market. Nicky Henderson's stable boasts a number of live contenders including Constitution Hill and Jonbon in Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and Shishkin in Champion Chase.
