Kansas City Chiefs ATS trends and betting overview

Kansas City is back in the AFC Championship Game, as it continues its quest for a second straight Super Bowl title.

The Chiefs have covered ATS in their past four games, and are currently 11-8 ATS this year, including the regular season and playoffs.

Sunday night was only the third time this season the Chiefs have been an underdog, and they’re a perfect 3-0 ATS in that position.

Not only are the Chiefs in an unfamiliar position as an underdog, they’re also in an unfamiliar place, as the win against the Bills was the first road playoff game of quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ career. This coming Sunday will be the second.

The story of Kansas City’s season, however, has been the defense, which is a big reason 12 of its 17 regular-season games finished UNDER the total.

Baltimore Ravens ATS trends and betting overview

Baltimore will be making its first appearance in conference championship weekend since the 2012-13 season, when it went on to win the Super Bowl.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens ran away from the Texans in the divisional round, shaking off some first-half rust to easily cover a near double-digit spread.

That puts the Ravens at 12-6 ATS this season, as they were one of the league’s better team against the number during the regular season. They’ve covered in six of their last eight games, and one of those losses ATS came in Week 18, when Jackson was rested.

Being a favorite is, unsurprisingly, a familiar spot for the top-seeded Ravens, as they’ve been favored in 15 of their 18 games to this point, going 10-5 in those instances.

In games the Ravens have been favored by less than a TD, they are 8-2 SU and ATS.

Saturday night’s win against the Texans pushed the total of 44, but UNDERs hit in nine of 17 Ravens regular-season games.
