College football: No. 21 Oregon State stuns No. 9 Oregon

No. 21 Oregon State defeated No. 9 Oregon 38-34 in a Pac-12 Conference game. Isaiah Newell ran for the go-ahead touchdown with 8:11 remaining. Oregon had led by 31-10 late in the third quarter and 34-17 early in fourth. The Beavers ran 268 yards and five touchdowns. Damien Martinez had 103 yards in 15 carries. Ben Gulbanson ran two touchdowns and threw two interceptions. Bo Nix passed for 327 yards, but he had limited mobility because of an ankle injury. Washington State will play No 13 Washington later Saturday. If Washington wins, the winner will advance to the Pac 12 championship game against No 6 USC.

Texas A&M beats No. 5 Louisiana State 38-23. The Aggies are 5-7 and 2-6 in the Southeastern Conference. They are out of contention for the College Football Playoff.

South Carolina beat No. 8 Clemson 31-30. The Gamecocks beat Tennessee 63-38 last week. They beat Clemson for the second time in a row. South Carolina will await its bowl destination. Clemson will play North Carolina in the ACC championship game next Saturday.

Georgia is 12-0 and the defending national champion. Georgia defeated Georgia Tech 37-14. Stetson Bennett threw two touchdown passes. Kenny McIntosh and Kendall Milton ran for touchdowns.

No. 4 Texas Christian defeats Iowa State 62-14. It's the first undefeated regular season by a Big 12 Conference team since 2009. The Frogs are one of three undefeated teams remaining.

Bryce Young passed for 343 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a touchdown in the Iron Bowl. Alabama reached double digits in wins for the 15th consecutive season. Auburn was trying to ensure bowl eligibility and salvage a disappointing season that included the firing of coach Bryan Harsin.

No. 10 Tennessee beats Vanderbilt 56-0. It's the first 10-win regular season for the Volunteers since 2003.

Sean Clifford throws four touchdown passes for Penn State. Theo Johnson catches two touchdown throws for the Nittany Lions. KeAndre Lambert-Smith throws a touchdown pass and catches another for Michigan State, which was down a few players because of injuries and suspensions.

No. 14 Utah beats Colorado 63-21. The Utes are chasing for the last spot into the Pac-12 title game. UCLA did its part for Utah by knocking off Cal on Friday. No. 21 Oregon State surprised No 9 Oregon.

Alec Holler made a one-handed catch for a touchdown with 20 seconds left to give Central Florida a 46-39 win over South Florida. UCF will play at No. 19 Tulane in the American Athletic Conference championship game on Saturday.

Kentucky beat Louisville 26-13 for the fourth consecutive Governor’s Cup victory. Will Levis passed for two touchdowns and Matt Ruffolo kicked a career-best four field goals.

Purdue clinches first Big Ten West Division title with a 30-16 victory over Indiana. The Boilermakers also won their fourth Old Oaken Bucket in five games.

Illinois beats Northwestern 41-3. Purdue defeats Indiana to win the Big Ten West division.

Minnesota beat Wisconsin 23-16. The Gophers retain possession of Paul Bunyan's Axe. They have been playing each other since 1890.
