Constitution Hill goes odds-on for Champion Hurdle after demolishing rivals in Fighting Fifth

Constitution Hill won the Betfair Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle. Nicky Henderson's horse is unbeaten under rules and was a 1-4 chance going into the Grade One. He pulled clear of stablemate Epatante, who was second in the Champion Huddle last year. Henderson was not at the race, instead he was saddling his Newbury runners. He believes Constitution Hill could go chasing tomorrow. The Christmas Hudle is the natural target for Henderson. His horses Altior and Buveur d’Air won Champion hurdles. They also went on to win Arkles and Champion Chases.
