Coyotes vs Islanders Prediction

The Arizona Coyotes and New York Islanders face off on Tuesday in an NHL showdown at UBS Arena.

Islanders Look for Second Straight Win

The Islanders really struggled in the first game, but in the last game against the Buffalo Sabres, they looked better. At the end of the first period they were up 2-0 and they ended up securing the 3-2 victory. Brock Nelson scored one goal and added another assist. Ilya Sorokin saved 26 of the 28 shots that he faced. In this game the Islanders are going to need to find success early with the offense. In Game 1 the offense wasn’t good enough, and that wil lneed to change here.

Coyotes on Tired Legs

The Coyotes are going to have tired legs heading into this game after their game on Monday night. The Coyotes only managed one run against the New York Rangers and that led to the 2-1 defeat. Clayton Keller scored the only goal for the Coyotes but the defense let them down in the third period giving a goal. In this game the offense is going to need to find a way to get going early.

Shane’s Free Pick

Tired Legs are going to really hurt the Coyotes here. The Islanders in the last game only gave up two goals, and their defense is going to lockdown here. Look for the Coyotes to score only a goal or two and that won’t be enough for them to get the job done. Back the Islanders on the puck line to secure the victory.
