England vs. Ukraine Odds, Predictions & Betting Tips

Live on Channel 4, England host Ukraine in the Euro 2024 Qualifiers this Sunday at Wembley Stadium and we’ve got two tips for the game including a 7/2 shout.

The hosts are coming off the back of a 2-1 win against Italy in their opening Euro qualifier earlier this week, with Harry Kane scoring a penalty to become England’s top scorer with 54 goals.

The Three Lions have won 10 successive European Championship qualifiers at home and they will be looking to make it 11 in a row when Ukraine pays a visit this Sunday.

As for the visitors, this will be their first Euro 2024 qualifier as they look for their ticket to Germany. Ukraine now begin their quest to qualify for the European Championship for the fourth time in a row under caretaker boss Ruslan Rotan after Oleksandr Petrakov stepped down from the managerial position having failed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.

These two sides last met in the Euro quarter-final two years ago as England thrashed Ukraine 4-0. However,  Ukraine come into this game on a 10-game unbeaten run in Euro qualifiers which should give them confidence heading to Wembley.

Team News:

Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, Mason Mount & Nick Pope are out for England.

Ilya Zabarnyi & Oleksandr Zubkov are out for Ukraine.

England possible starting lineup:

Pickford; James, Stones, Maguire, Chilwell; Henderson, Phillips, Rice; Saka, Kane, Foden

Ukraine Palace possible starting lineup:

Lunin; Konoplya, Matvienko, Popov, Mykolenko; Malinovskyi, Stepanenko, Zinchenko; Tsygankov, Dovbyk, Mudryk

England vs Ukraine Tips

England have won three of their last four European qualifiers without conceding a goal. Their last meeting against Ukraine in the Euros was a comfortable 4-0 win which saw this bet land.

With Reece James and Ben Chilwell expected to play in defence here, The Three Lions have enough strength in depth to pick up another three points without conceding a goal. The win to Nil selection is available at 37/40 with BetVictor or other betting sites, presenting value for a 1pt stake so we will take it as our main bet for this game.

Ben Chilwell anytime assist

Ben Chilwell will be expected to start here replacing the suspended Luke Shaw. He has looked in great touch for his club Chelsea averaging 0.8 key passes per game and will be expected to get involved in the attack and whip crosses in for Harry Kane. With the English top scorer in supreme goal scoring form, 7/2 for a Chilwell assist looks value here.
