Former Gov. Rick Perry Supporting Legalizing Mobile Sports Betting
Former Texas Governor Rick Perry has been hired as a spokesman for the Texas Sports Betting Alliance. The alliance wants to legalize mobile and online sports betting in Texas.
Gov. Perry supports the Texas Sports Betting Alliance. The alliance includes a handful of sports betting platforms and Texas' pro sports teams. Before the bill can become law, the constitution needs to be changed. A majority of state lawmakers must approve it before it goes to the voters.
There will be betting on sporting events in the State of Texas.
