Free racing tips at Fairyhouse and Kempton

Easter Monday means one thing in Irish racing, Irish Grand National day and ITV has again secured coverage of this famous handicap. Along with five quality races from Fairyhouse, four races will be shown live from Kempton Park on Monday afternoon.

Monday's ITV Racing Schedule

ITV Racing Tips - Monday 10th April

Race 1 - Donohue Marquees Juvenile Hurdle Tips

Despite that flop at the Cheltenham Festival, BLOOD DESTINY should take a whole heap of beating in Monday's first Graded race.

Willie Mullins' star was fancied for the Triumph Hurdle following bloodless victories at Cork and here at Fairyhouse. At Cheltenham, Patrick Mullins' mount never looked comfortable at any stage. Blood Destiny couldn't hold his pitch at the head of affairs and had already begun to tumble through the pack before they'd even reached the top of Cleeve Hill.

If you can put a line through that run, then Blood Destiny's form is far superior to the rest of this field.

Race 2 - Fillies' Conditions Stakes Tips

RUNNING LION built on a promising debut at Newmarket with two impressive all-weather wins last season. John and Thady Gosden's filly bolted up over a mile at Lingfield, before carrying a penalty to victory at Chelmsford.

Oisin Murphy will have two Godolphin fillies to worry about, but Running Lion has proven more in her three starts and could use that experience to her advantage.

Race 3 - Fairyhouse Steel Handicap Hurdle Tips

CADATHARLA made a mockery of his opening handicap mark of 109 when winning at Naas in January and was only narrowly touched off by a well-backed favourite of Barry Connell's here at Fairyhouse next time out.

This slightly longer trip won't cause Ciaran Murphy's five-year-old any problems and Aidan Kelly's seven-pound claimer leaves him carrying just 10-8.

Race 4 - Conditions Stakes Tips

The first of two odds-on favourites who should oblige for the Gosdens is SLIPOFTHEPEN. James Doyle's mount carried the King and Queen Consort's silks to an impressive victory here at Kempton on debut back in November and this home-bred for the Royal Family should have come on plenty for that outing.

Race 5 - Rathbarry & Glenview Studs Hurdle Tips

Fil Dor has a five-pound penalty to contend with and he's yet to prove himself over trips further than two miles. Like Fil Dor, Beacon Edge and HMS Seahorse come into this on the back of dreadful runs in the Coral Cup. Monkfish has a 700-day absence to overcome and Master McShee has been seen since he bled following a rubbish run behind Energumene at the start of the season.

Process of elimination leaves me with ASTERION FORLONGE, who ran reasonably well when second to Summerville Boy on his first start of the season last month. Willie Mullins' grey should come on for that effort and I don't see this drop back in trip as a negative. He should win.

Race 6 - Rosebery Handicap Tips

SAVVY KNIGHT kicked off his three-year-old season with three straight victories and wasn't beaten far in the King George V Handicap at Royal Ascot off a mark of 90. Results drifted during the second-half of the season, but Sean Woods' charge returns to action running off a reduced mark of 88 and James Doyle has been booked to ride.

Race 7 - Fairyhouse Chase Tips

Easy Game will be going for a hat-trick in this Grade Two, having won it the previous two years. Willie Mullins' charge was a little fortunate to win last year, when stablemates JANIDIL and Blackbow both suffered early falls.

I tipped Janidil when he won the Novices' Gold Cup at this meeting two years ago, returning a price of 12/1. Janidil was also my selection for this year's Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham, where Mark Walsh's mount jumped horrendously and crossed the line a well-beaten seventh.

Mullins' nine-year-old is a horse that can blow hot and cold. He's frustratingly unpredictable. On his day, though, Janidil is a very classy operator and Fairyhouse has brought out the best in him before.

Race 8 - Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes Tips

On the back of two novice victories, including a victory here at Kempton, LAUREL ran a cracker to finish less than a length behind Fonteyn on her final three-year-old start in the Sun Chariot Stakes.

Laurel holds a Lockinge entry and the Gosden's could target races like the Pretty Polly Stakes, the Prince Of Wales's Stakes or the Coral Eclipse if they choose to step this talented daughter of Kingman up in distance. This looks to be an easy starting point.
