Friday ITV tips: Best bets for Cheltenham
It's the first day of the Paddy Power Gold Cup meeting at Cheltenham. Planet Sport's tipsters have a selection for each of four races. The feature race is the Grade 2 Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at 1530.
Enki Flacke is the favourite for the Markel Insurance Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham on Friday at 13:10.
The Glancing Queen is 5lb higher than when bolting up here in April. Alan King's mare has won twice already at Cheltenham.
Ballyandy is expected to take some beating in the Glenfarclas Veterans' Handicap Chase. The Kayf Tara gelding won twice over hurdles earlier in this year and is currently rated 7lb lower over fences than he is over the smaller obstacles.
Twiston-Davies' horse Weveallbeencaught is going to Cheltenham for the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle. The race is an early trial for a race of the same name at the Festival in March. Coneygree (2012), Thyme Hill (2019) and Collectors Item (2014) have won this race.
