Brian Hughes, Milton Harris and Jamie Snowden all had successful afternoon jumps cards at Carlisle and Fontwell. Kevin Jones made it 75 career winners and rode out his claim on Harris-trained Global Agreement at Font well. Charlie Deutsch had his first Grade 1 success at the weekend atFontwell with a double in the saddle on Gamaret and Poniente. David Bass had the 500th of his career on Le Cameleon at Wolverhampton.

Golden Whisper is the market leader at Wolverhampton. Jackmeister Rudi is a promising horse. The trainer hopes he will improve. Carlisle, Fontwell and Wolverampton had a good day at the tracks.

Stuart Coltherd's Maid O'Malley won at Wetherby last time. She will try to follow-up in Carlisle's mares chase at 3.55.

Charlie Deutsch was on board first past the post Gamaret in the 2.25 at Fontwell. Deutch is confident his horse will keep the race. Pearly Island finished second. The stewards will have a look at the finish.

Nicky Richards and Sean Quinlan have a young chaser called Houston Texas. He won the first race at Carlisle. He finished second to Houston, third to Magic Of Milan and fourth to Morozov Cocktail.

Brian Hughes is the new champion jockey. He has won 147 races this season. Jamie Hamilton was supposed to ride Skyhill, but he got injured. Hughes's agent Richard Hale picked up plenty of spares for him. His family supports him a lot. He wants to receive the trophy at Sandown in April. The previous championship win was cancelled due to the pandemic. It was postponed to 2019-20.
