Horse racing is a popular sport in South Korea.

It's been 100 years since South Korea's first thoroughbred race. The sport is growing in popularity and is now worth billions. It's attracting more foreign jockeys and trainers and Korean runners. The Korea Racing Authority plans to stage some of the biggest events on the horse racing calendar within five years. No US-trained horse has ever raced in South Korean thoroughbirt racing. Alastair Middleton is a former insurance worker who fell in love with Korean horse races. He's now a member of KRA. Annual attendances at the main venues exceed 15 million.
