Coral (Farnborough, Anglia and south-east) was born on Christmas Eve 1982 into a military family. He moved to Germany when he was three and then to England in his early teens. In 2008 he joined the betting industry and after a few weeks he fell in love with his job. Five years ago he became a manager and in the last 18 months he's become a multi-site manager.

Paddy Power (Carlow, Ireland) is the finalist for Betting Shop Manager of the Year 2022. Paddy was promoted from cashier to manager and district coordinator by the age of 25. He has a partner Stephanie and two children, Darragh aged ten and Leah aged five. He is also an expert in the application of nail varnish.

Betfred (Rainhill, North-west and Isle of Man) is 50 years old, married to Sue for 13 years and has a stepdaughter Holly, 21. His first job was at the 1993 Grand National. He started with Ladbrokes and worked his way up to deputy manager level. In 1998 he transferred to Wirral as manager and a year later switched to an independent. After a one-year stint at Rainhill he was group sales manager until the position ended in 2020. Now he's a manager.

Coral (Wolverhampton, Midlands and Wales) is looking for Betting Shop Manager of the Year 2022. The finalists are:  Julianne, Paul, Chris Kamara, and Eric Bristow. They are all from Wolverhamptons. Julianne started her working life as a waitress at the age of 16 and worked her way up to marketplace manager at Coral.

Star Sports (Mayfair, Greater London) has announced the finalists for Betting Shop Manager of the Year 2022. The winner will be announced in the final. The finalists are:  John Jennings, John Gately, David Hoyle, Paul Hule, and John Witherspoon. Jennings has been with Star Sports for six years. He has worked in Coral for ten years and for Jennings for a further ten. In his spare time he plays golf, is a season ticket-holder at AFC Wimbledon and holidays in Las Vegas.

William Hill's 48-year-old manager is retiring after 30 years in the betting industry. He worked in 32 shops and gained experience. After his partner Laura's father died, he moved to Scotland to be closer to her family. His wife and two daughters are aged 8 and 6. They love the outdoors and taking pictures. They once climbed the Cobbler for charity. Gracie wanted to save her sweets until the summit.

Ladbrokes is a shop in Middlesbrough, North and north-east. It's been 30 years since she started working there. She's managed many shops and she's made lifelong friends. Her husband Simon was managing a different shop when she met him. They got married in 2008. Liam, 26, gave her two grandchildren and Jack, 18, is studying sports journalism at Sheffield University.
