Irish Grand National: Full race card, start time, and where to watch on TV

The 2022 Irish Grand National is taking place today. There is a capacity crowd at Fairyhouse for the first time since 2019. 30 horses are going to compete over three miles.

The start time of the Irish Grand National is 5 pm on Monday, April 18 at Fairyhouse Racecourse.

Gaillard Du Mesnil is one of the clear market leaders. Full Time Score is also one to keep an eye on. Rachael Blackmore is set to ride the Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding. Gordon Elliott has 11 runners in the field. Farclas and Run Wild Fred are among his leading stars.

The Irish Grand National starts at 2.30 pm. RTE will broadcast the race live. The event is also available on ITV and Racing TV.
