The NHL Stadium Series concludes Sunday with a showdown between the New York Islanders and New York Rangers at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. It will be the fourth outdoor game this season and the 41st of all time.

Here are our favorite Stadium Series NHL props for Rangers vs. Islanders:

Islanders vs. Rangers odds, preview and picks

The Rangers and Islanders will duke it out in the NHL Stadium Series finale on Sunday at MetLife Stadium - home of the New York Jets and New York Giants.

Both teams have played outdoor games before. The Islanders are 0-1 outside, while the Rangers are a sparkling 4-0. But it’s not just that reason why we like the Rangers here. The NYR enter this game smoking hot, winning six straight and outscoring opponents 25 to 11 in the span.

Meanwhile, the Islanders have lost two in a row and are 3-4-3 in their last 10. They also rank 31st in shots allowed (34.3) and own the league’s worst penalty kill (71.7%). That doesn’t bode well against a Rangers team that likes to shoot the puck and has the NHL’s fifth best PP unit (25.6%).

While the Isles have won four of the last six between the two, we like the Rangers to buck the trend and prevail in the elements.

Rangers vs. Islanders NHL props: Panarin and Horvat player props

  • NHL player props: Artemi Panarin anytime goal scorer (+140 or better):Artemi Panarin is due to break out of his scoring slump, and we like his chances against the Islanders. Panarin leads the Rangers in goals but has gone four straight games without eating - something he’s only done one other time this year. The Isles’ shaky D and poor PK should be a recipe for success for the 32-year-old Russian.
  • NHL player props: Bo Horvat over 2.5 shots on goal (-122 or better): You have to go back to Jan. 16 for the last time that Bo Horvat didn’t record at least three shots on net. That’s nine straight games he’s topped this total. He’s also registered three-plus in 13 of his last 16, meaning this bet has cashed 81% of the time in 2024. There’s enormous value on this line.
