Luxembourg on target to join elite group of Irish-trained Arc winners

Luxembourg is favourite to win Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe in Paris on Sunday. Seven Irish-trained horses have won the prestigious race over the decades. Baaeed's decision to skip the race is a blow to the prestige of the event. The weather forecast is good to soft. Kyprios is set to try and get the Arc weekend off to a good start in Saturday”s Prix Du Cadran. There are 27 contenders for the €5 million prize. Four of them are from Japan. Verry Elleegant is expected to be supplemented into the competition later this week.
