MIZUKI INOUE VS HANNAH GOLDY LOWDOWN

Mizuki Inoue (14-6) finally returns after three years recovering from a torn ACL. She made her name for Invicta with her only losses coming to the former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz (2014), current flyweight champion Alexa Grasso (2015) and Virna Jandiroba (2018). She earnt a split decision on her UFC debut against Yanan Wu (2019) but then ran into Amanda Lemos (2020) losing a more convincing unanimous decision.

Hannah Goldy (6-3) has been slightly more active but has struggled with the UFC standard. Miranda Granger (2019) inflicted her first loss on her debut and then Diana Belbita (2021) made it two losses in a row with another unanimous decision. She picked up her first UFC win catching Emily Whitmire (2021) in an armbar but then ate Molly McCann’s (2022) spinning back elbow and we have not seen her since.

MIZUKI INOUE VS HANNAH GOLDY PREDICTION

We are not sure how Inoue will look considering the lay off and the severity of the injury, but that said this is a great matchup to come back to. Goldy is very strong, but it remains to be seen whether she is UFC calibre and will be giving up four inches in reach.

She will bring a fast pace and look to overwhelm Inoue with her volume. The Japanese native is the better striker and as we expect this to play out on the feet, we are backing Inoue to earn a decision.

As she is the heavy favourite, the only bet that makes sense is Goldy considering the time off.
