NHL Odds: Penguins-Senators prediction, odds, pick and more

The Ottawa Senators host the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third game of their four-game homestand. Pittsburgh is coming off of a big win against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday.

Pittsburgh Penguins had lost four straight games before the All-Star break. They beat the Bruins on Tuesday to start their second half of the season on the right foot. Sidney Crosby is looking for his 500th career goal. Jake Guentzel is leading the Penguins in scoring with 48 points in 41 games so far. Tristan Jarry is 24-8-6 so so he should start in goal for the Pens.

The Senators are on a two-game winning streak coming out of the All-Star break. Ottawa is 25-17-0 against the spread this year. Brady Tkachuk is second on the team in points behind Drake Batherson. Matt Murray is set to start for his old team against his former team.

The Penguins are the better team, but Ottawa is a team whose offensive production isn't sustainable. The Senators should keep it close and I'm going to pick them for the value pick at +1.5 (-148) before the odds get worse.
