Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers are playing each other on opening night on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The teams are familiar with each others from the Eastern Conference Final in June. Tampa Bay won the first two games in the series but the Rangers won four of the next five. The team will be looking for a second consecutive postseason berth. New Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin won Vezina Trophy last year. He will get tested in big games this season.

The NHL Opening Night starts at 7:30 ET at Madison Square Garden.

The Lightning v. Rangers game will be aired on ESPN.
