Odds and best bets Galway Festival July 27

Galway Festival starts on Monday and runs until July 27th. The feature race is the Galway Plate, a handicap chase.

Fire Attack is a contender for the 2022 Galway Plate. He was an easy winner on his chase debut at Wexford last season. Joseph O'Brien gave him his handicap debut in May. Fire Attack has just 10-7 to shoulder on Wednesday. He has been tested at Grade One level at some stage of his career.

Jessica Harrington's horse Discordantly is favourite to win the Galway Plate at the July 27th Galways Festival. Discordant won a big pot at Leopardstown in March. He has been pushed up the handicap by a pound since his excellent effort at Punchestown Festival and has course-and-distance winning form.
