Shakib to terminate Betwinner contract
Shakib Al Hasan has terminated his sponsorship deal with Betwinner News. The Bangladesh Cricket Board is investigating the matter. BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon warned that the board will take a hard decision if Shakib doesn't clarify his involvement in the Betwinning News deal. The issue had put BCb's plans on hold for the upcoming Asia Cup, which begins from August 27 in UAE. Bangladesh will announce the squad for Asia Cups on August 13 after Shakir arrives from USA. He is a potential candidate for T20I captaincy.
