Six magnificent maidens to rival Frankel's memorable Newmarket debut

It's been 12 years since Frankel's winning debut in a Newmarket maiden. Frankelly won 14 races in total, including ten Group 1 wins.

Future Group/Graded winners beaten. Pencader won the race at Newbury in 1993. The runner-up was Hawajiss. Third place was Piccolo. Fourth place went to Southern Power. Erhaab finished 12th. Erraab won Derby in the following year.

Presenting won a maiden race in Doncaster in 1994. He is a champion jumps stallion who sired two Gold Cup winners War Of Attrition and Denman.

Sinndar won a maiden at the Curragh under Johnny Murtagh. Media Puzzle won the Melbourne Cup for Dermot Weld in 2002.

Waldgeist won his first Chantilly maiden race. He beat future multiple Group winner Called To The Bar by two lengths. Willie Mullins' future hurdler Saldier finished in fourth place.

Cracksman made his debut over a mile at Newmarket. He beat Stradivarius, who was outpaced over the inadequate trip. Cracksmann has won the Prix Ganay, Coronation Cup and Champion Stakes twice.

Accelerate and Arrogate were beaten in Los Alamitos maiden special weights race. Westbrook would never win again. Accelerate was a five-time Grade 1 winner culminating in his Breeders' Cup success at Churchill Downs in 2018. Arroge was behind Accelerates on his first outing but trumped him to Breeder's Cup honours two years later. Juddmonte colt also won the Pegasus and Dubai World Cup.
