Sizeable favourite El Fabiolo is 2/7 to win the Cheltenham Festival's Queen Mother Champion Chase
And for those confident the gelding will justify the bookies' odds and finish first past the post in the Grade 1 National Hunt steeplechase fixture, the odds for El Fabiolo to win are an extremely short 2/7.
El Fabiolo has gone unbeaten since April of 2022, with the French thoroughbred having won seven on the trot in the lead-up to today's race.
Included in those successes was a triumph in the Novices' Chase at last year's Festival, where he finished strong up the straight to best the second-placed Jonbon by a convincing five-and-a-half lengths.
Speaking of Jonbon, he was considered to once again be El Fabiolo's biggest threat for today's fixture - however - Nicky Henderson's horse was ruled out earlier this morning.
Henry De Bromhead's Captain Guiness rounds out the three favourites in the field - with the Irish thoroughbred currently priced at 15/2.
The race is due off at 4pm.
