Tennessee Football Recruiting: 2023 Recruiting Class Superlatives

Trevor Duncan was a blue chip commit, but he got bumped down in recent rankings. He is 6-foot-5 and 277 pounds and he has real flexibility to his game.

Jordan Matthews and Gibson are both talented and versatile players. They could play a lot for Tennessee this season. They both have potential to play by the end of the season, if they play at all.

Shamurad Umarov is ranked as the 288th overall player and 26th tackle in the 247Sports Composite. He is much higher in 247 Sports rankings, coming in at 107th nationally and 13th at tackle.

Nathan Robinson is a defensive lineman who might eventually switch to the offensive line. He has some nice size and power to his game that he will translate better on the offense.

Nicholaus Iamaleava is a highly regarded quarterback. Tennessee signed him early. He was the commitment that put the college football world on notice.

Seldon is too talented to keep off the field, but not ready for big usage in the SEC. He could play running back, wide receiver, slot player, or even on defense. It's up to Tennessee's staff to decide.

Nathan Leacock was a consensus top 100 player in the country. He had an incredible senior season and showed off his growth as a player. Tennessee signed him early. He has a combination of size and speed that is not on the roster at the moment.
