Mike Trout is going to have a big day against the Cincinnati Reds. Reid Detmers is not a good bet to go deep. Jordan Montgomery should make short work of the Reds, however.
Trout has hit .341/.382/.932 since September 4. He has a better isolated slugging mark than Aaron Judge. Trout has been outstanding at home this season with a 219 wRC+ and 34 extra-base hits in 51 games. He's got 43 total bases in 13 games this month. The best bet is Trout over 1.5 bases.
Detmers has not recorded more than 17.5 outs in five straight appearances this season. Seattle Mariners are the 10th-ranked offence in the majors against southpaws.
Montgomery has a 2.05 ERA in eight starts with the St. Louis Cardinals. He has cleared the 5.5 strikeout line five times. Montgomery will face an anemic Cincinnati Reds offence.
