UFC 281 odds: Latest Vegas lines and betting guide

Israel Adesanya is the current champion of the Middleweight division. He will fight Alex Pereira for the third time in UFC 281 this weekend. Carla Esparza starts her second Strawweight reign against former champ Zhang Weili. Dustin Poirier battles Michael Chandler in an explosive Lightweight clash. Frankie Edgar makes his final Octagon appearance opposite Chris Gutierrez.

Miranda Maverick, Jake Hadley, Johnny Munoz Jr. and Tagir Ulanbekov are doing well.

Polyana Viana is going to fight Jinh Yu Frey. Polyana hasn't been stopped with strikes since 2017.

Tamires Vidal is going to fight Ramona Pascual. Pascal was much more aggressive than Vili.

Marina Rodriguez talked herself into taking on Lemos. She didn't want to, but she didn’t know how hard Lemo hits and how poor Rodriguez”s defense is.

Darrick Minner entered the cage injured and some member of his team possibly leaked that insider information.

Brad Riddell is favored to win against Renato Moicano.

Dominick Reyes is a slight favorite against Ryan Spann. Spannon is on a three-fight losing streak. Reyes has the ability to find the mark and then clean up the mess.

Erin Blanchfield is the toughest opponent Molly McCann has faced since her last defeat. Blachfield has the same grappling prowess that gave McCann fits in her three UFC losses.

Andre Petroski is (-195) vs. Wellington Turman (+165). Petoski has shown steady improvements in every area. Turmann barely beat Sam Alvey last year.

Ottman Azaitar (-115) is taking on Matt Frevola (-105). Azeitar has a history of gasping, which is a bad sign for FreVola.

Gomez Juarez is an underdog against Kowalkiewicz. She has a serious edge in power and hand speed. KOWALKiewicz has never been a consistent takedown artist.

Seung Woo Choi (-165) and Michael Trizano (+140) are going to play each other.

Montel Jackson is (-200) against Julio Arce. Arc is a technician but he has a size disadvantage and has been beaten by heavy hitters in the past.

Carlos Ulberg is a moderate favorite against Nicolae Negumereanu. Negamereu's approach works against opponents who get caught up trying to match his pace or punish his exposed-but-indestructible chin. Ulburg showed against Fabio Cherant that he can play a boring keep-away game for 15 minutes and his counters were on point in his last match with Tafon Nchukwi.

Israel Adesanya is betting on himself to win against Alex Pereira. The cage is far larger than a kickboxing ring and offers fewer sharp corners. Pereiras doesn't have a ground game, but he does hit hard and has smaller gloves.

Zhang Weili is (-360) vs. Carla Esparza (+295) in UFC 281.

Dustin Poirier is the more durable of the two fighters. Poier hasn't been dropped in more than six years. Chandler's wrestling skills and Poerier's guillotines are the biggest threat.

Chris Gutierrez is betting on him to beat Frankie Edgar. Edgar has only one non-controversial victory in the last five years. Gutierrez has been violently finished in three of his last four fights.

Dan Hooker is under-performing and he's getting out-lasted by Claudio Puelles.
