This UFC Fight Night bout between Joe Pyfer and Abdul Razak is expected to produce a ton of fireworks early on and may not end up lasting that long. Find out who's coming out on top in our UFC betting picks below,

Joe Pyfer vs. Abdul Razak Alhassan is the co-main event to this weekend’s UFC Fight Night, and this bout between middleweight finishers could end up being the Fight of the Night at The Apex in Las Vegas.

Pyfer is looking to build on the momentum from his scintillating with over Gerald Meerschaert, with Alhassan hoping his heavy hands can derail the hype train before it leaves the station.

UFC odds back Pyfer as a big -410 favorite, and Alhassan is a +320 underdog. Here are my free betting picks for Pyfer vs. Alhassan at UFC Fight Night from Las Vegas.

Joe Pyfer vs Abdul Razak Alhassan picks

Fight prediction: Joe Pyfer ML

Pyfer (11-2) is coming off an impressive win at UFC 287 over Gerald Meerschaert with that performance getting a lot of attention.

Not only is Pyfer a dangerous striker, but he also has a solid ground game. If he plays his cards right, Pyfer has the framework of a top contender at middleweight and has a blank canvas to paint another masterpiece this weekend.

Alhassan (12-5) is a kill-or-be-killed fighter who either gets you out early or loses. That’s it.

Though he goes by the moniker “Judo Master,” Alhassan hits like a truck and gasses out almost right away. All of his wins have been knockouts, but he’s on the skids, going 2-3 in his last five fights.

Pyfer and Al Hassan will not waste time feeling each other out. The bombs should fly early, and with Pyfer’s better skill set and Al Hassan’s poor defense, the stars are in alignment for another highlight reel win for Pyfer.

This will be another big win for “Bodybagz” Pyfer in what should be a fun fight while it lasts.

Prediction: Joe Pyfer moneyline (-410 at DraftKings)

Fight best bet: Joe Pyfer to win by KO/TKO/DQ in Round 1

One way or another, this fight ends in a knockout. Pyfer’s superior striking accuracy and ground game give him all the tools he needs to end this either standing or on the mat. However, Alhassan’s propensity for ending fights early cannot be ignored.

Both fighters have been stopped in their careers. Pyfer suffered an arm injury taking a slam from Dustin Stoltzfus in 2020, and Alhassan was out in 30 seconds against the heavy-handed Khaos Williams.

I’m having trouble seeing this fight get out of the first round, let alone go the distance. The best bet is that Pyfer exploits the holes in Alhassan’s striking defense, allowing him to land a kill shot toward another stoppage win in the first round.

Pick: Joe Pyfer to win by KO/TKO/DQ in Round 1 (-125 at DraftKings)

Joe Pyfer vs Abdul Razak Alhassan betting preview

Pyfer last fought on the UFC 287 preliminaries, stopping Meerschaert in the first round. He rematched Meerschaert, albeit in a grappling match, last May and won convincingly. With his sharp boxing and wrestling game, Pyfer displays a multifaceted skill set that may make him a premier talent.

The rugged Alhassan is a hard night out for anyone opposite him. He has a black belt in Judo but has operated primarily as a striker in the UFC. The Ghanaian is coming off a second-round knockout win over Claudio Ribeiro last January, his second win in five fights.

Both Pyfer and Alhassan are known for their stopping power. From a physical standpoint, Pyfer will possess a 3-inch advantage in height and a 2-inch advantage in reach, and he’s a better defender against strikes and takedowns. Alhassan has yet to win a fight in the UFC that has lasted more than one round.
