UFC star Nate Diaz JAILED in US over street fight with Logan Paul lookalike after turning himself in to police

NATE DIAZ is reportedly in JAIL after Police in New Orleans issued a warrant for his arrest.

TMZ Sports report Diaz turned himself in after the warrant was issued on Monday.

The report alleges that jail records obtained by TMZ show Diaz turned himself in at 7:40am on a charge of second-degree battery.

Police issued the warrant after Diaz appeared to be involved in a street brawl on Saturday evening.

Diaz appeared to choke a man during the fight on Bourbon Street in New Orleans after attending Misfits Boxing 6 on Friday.

In the video footage, Diaz is seen putting his arm around a man's neck after brawling, with the man then falling to the floor seemingly unconscious.

The man choked out by Diaz was later identified online as TikTok user Rodney Petersen — who spends his time impersonating YouTube superstar Logan Paul.

NOPD confirmed Diaz's charge in a statement to the U.S. Sun.

Officer Reese Harper wrote in an email on Monday evening: "At or about 2:10am on Saturday April 22- NOPD's Bourbon Street.

"Promenade officers and supervisors were alerted to a large altercation in the 400 block of Bourbon St.

"The officers were able to disperse the crowd.

"Witness alerted the officers to a white male subject who was believed to be unconscious.

"A short time later, the subject regained consciousness. Officers observed the subject was bleeding from the rear of his head and EMS was summoned to render aid.

"After investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Nate Diaz. He has been charged with second degree battery.

"He is not in custody at this time."

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Diaz's representative for comment.

Earlier on Friday, Diaz — who attended Misfits Boxing to support his friend, Chris Avila — was involved in an altercation with Netflix reality star Case DeMoor during the New Orleans event.

The California native threw a bottle of water at DeMoor with security forced to step in and break up the melee ringside.

Diaz fought in the UFC for 15 years before leaving the promotion and becoming a free agent in late 2022.

The Stockton Slugger has been preparing for his boxing debut in a highly-anticipated bout with Jake Paul on August 5 in Dallas.
