The Cross Country Chase is the most unique race on the Cheltenham Festival schedule.

As well as a marathon 3m6f trip, the runners and riders have to navigate 32 obstacles of a varying nature on Cheltenham’s specialist course that tests speed, stamina and skill.

Tiger Roll is the most successful horse in the history of the Cross Country Chase with three wins, but the Grand National legend was denied a fourth success in last year’s renewal on his farewell as stablemate Delta Work pipped him to the post in a thrilling finish.

You can run the rule over our Cross Country Chase odds on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise all the key details about this year’s renewal can be found below.

Cross Country Chase 2023 date and start time

The Cross Country Chase is set to take place at Cheltenham on Wednesday, March 15. The post time is provisionally set for 16:10 GMT. You can watch the race live on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app or on ITV.

Cross Country Chase 2023 betting

Cross Country Chase odds are on paddypower.com and prices for the leading contenders can be seen on our snazzy widgets below.

Delta Work is the favourite with Paddy Power for the Cross Country Chase as last year’s winner bids for back-to-back successes in the race.

Stablemate Galvin is next in the betting and brings plenty of class to the contest having landed last season’s Savills Chase before finishing fourth in the Gold Cup.

Franco De Port is also prominent in our non runner money back market but Willie Mullins’ runner has not scored since Boxing Day 2020.
