William Hill transforms betting experience with new innovative and digital-focused shop

William Hill has transformed the in-shop betting experience for its customers following the opening of a state-of-the-art, digital-only shop in Leeds on Saturday. Ex-Leeds and England goalkeeper Nigel Martyn, former Yorkshire and. England cricketer Craig White and ex-Yorkshire Rhinos player Stevie Ward attended the relaunch of William Hill’s Vicar Lane venue.

The new William Hill shop in Leeds offers customers a range of digital features. The relaunch in the city was a success. William HIll is set to roll out a similar shop later this month in Glasgow. William Hill is also focusing on player safety and introducing gantry cameras and body cameras to ensure the safety of its staff. Local sports heroes Martyn, White and Ward were impressed with the new shop. They are keen to visit other William hill betting shops around the UK.    William Hill hopes to attract a new audience.

William Hill is going paperless across the shop. Customers can access digital versions of the Racing Post at the new research table. Charging stations will be installed to charge phones wirelessly. Computer-driven scents have been installed in the entire shop to cover the whole shop and are inspired by casinos.
