This listed race (15:50) is the feature event on Sunday's card at the Curragh and it's attracted a strong turnout with 15 fillies and mares set to do battle over a mile and a quarter.

The Johnny Murtagh-trained Kerkiyra (108) tops the field on Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings. She is yet to fully fire in three starts so far this season, but she could be worth a chance to bounce back now tried in blinkers for the first time. She has the 'Horse For Course' Flag having won a couple of handicaps over this course and distance in 2022, running to a useful level, and that form reads well in the context of this race if the headgear can spark a revival.

Azazat (107) is another leading contender for the same owner, plus Dermot Weld, who is seeking his fourth success in this race since 2013. Last seen finishing seventh in the Irish Oaks at this course, Azazat should be capable of winning a race at this sort of level having filled the runner-up spot in a Group 3 at Cork the time before, keeping on well to be beaten just half a length. A repeat of that form is likely to put her right in the mix once again for Weld, who has the 'Hot Trainer' Flag to denote that his yard is in rude health.

Joseph O'Brien saddles a couple of interesting runners in the shape of Didn'thavemuchtodo (104+) and Maxux (97p). Didn'thavemuchtodo has returned in good heart this season and was only narrowly denied in a minor event at Gowran last time, while Maxux looked potentially useful when making a winning debut at the same course in June. She disappointed in a listed race at Naas 10 days later but is clearly thought capable of better having been sent off favourite on that occasion.

Red Riding Hood (103), Unless (102) and Lambada (100) make up a three-pronged attack for Aidan O'Brien, who has already won this race four times since 2015. Red Riding Hood and Lambada both finished down the field when stepped up to a mile and three-quarters for a Group 3 at Leopardstown last time, but Unless arrives here on the back of a better effort when filling the runner-up spot (beaten a length and three-quarters) in a listed race at Killarney. That was a career best and she's the type who should continue to give a good account.

Of the rest, the unexposed Gozen (100) will be worth a second look in the betting on her first run since finding one too good in a Group 3 for two-year-olds here in October, while Flame of Eire (105) and Clever And Cool (100) are a couple to mention at bigger odds. Not beaten far from a lofty mark when lining up in a valuable handicap here in May, Flame of Eire isn't without each-way claims on that form for Andrew Slattery, who also has the 'Hot Trainer' Flag. As for Clever And Cool, she was third in a minor event at Naas last time and rarely runs a bad race, for all that this will be tougher.

Timeform Analyst's Verdict:

C&D winner Kerkiyra has the best form and, if blinkers perk her up, she can get belatedly make the breakthrough at this level. Azazat, in the same ownership, is a big player dropping back in grade and Unless should also be on the premises.
