2022-23 NHL Preview: Seattle Kraken
Seattle finished with 60 points last season. General manager Ron Francis signed Andre Burakovsky and Oliver Bjorkstrand and drafted Shane Wright with the fourth overall pick. Martin Jones comes over from Philadelphia to improve Seattle's goalkeeping. Seattle is not expected to get better this season and their odds are long.
Shane Wright, 18, is a prospect who could join the Kraken this season. He played for Kingston in the OHL and led Team Canada to gold in 2021 World Juniors. Some scouts see him as a Patrico Bergeron-like player in future.

2022-23 NHL Preview: Seattle Kraken. Oliver Bjorkstrand and Matty Beniers are the most likely breakout players. Bjorksstrander is coming off a career season in Columbus. Benier was a 2021 first-round pick and had nine points in 10 games last season.
Seattle Kraken will be a bad team in 2022-23 but will still be one of the NHL's most exciting teams. The team features plenty of young players ready to score in bunches. Chris Driedger and Philipp Grubauer will improve with their goalkeeping.
