2022 Belmont Stakes: Predicting Betting Favorites After Preakness
Early Voting won the 147th Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland, on Saturday. Chad C. Brown-trained horse might not be the favorite next month to win at the Belmont Stake in Bel Mont, New York.
Epicenter finished second in both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. Steven M. Asmussen has won 9,756 races since his first victory in 1986. He won the Belmont Stake in 2016 with Creator and the Preaks Stages twice.
Simplification finished fourth in the Kentucky Derby and sixth in Preakness Stakes this year. He has three career wins, the last one came in April at Gulfstream Park. The Belmont Stake is a big bet for him.
Mo Donegal finished fifth in the Kentucky Derby. Todd A. Pletcher-trained Mo Doneg has already begun training at the Belmont Stakes track. Mo doneg won the Wood Memorial S. at Aqueduct and Remsen St. and Maiden Special Weight at Bel Mont Park.
