CBS Belmont Stakes Picks 2022

The 2022 Belmont Stakes is scheduled for this Saturday, June 11. This is the 154th running of the Belmonstakes. The race is taking place at Bel Mont Park in Elmont, New York. Coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET on CNBC. It will be broadcast live on NBC, Peacock and the NBC Sports app at 6:49 p.,m., ET.

The Belmont Stakes is the third and final Triple Crown race of the year. It takes place at Belmon Park on Saturday, June 11. Kentucky Derby 2022 winner Rich Strike is among the horses in the field. We The People is now the morning line favorite. Mo Donegal is not the favorite, but he has some of best odds to win the Bel Mont Stake in 2022. Barber Road, Nest and Creative Minister are also among horses with the best BelMont Stage odds. The Bel mont stake is a Grade 1 race with a purse of $1.5 million. The winner is usually a late-runner.

The Belmont Stakes is taking place on Saturday. We The People is the morning line favorite. Todd Pletcher's filly Nest is also in the race. The Belmont Stakes has not been very friendly to favorites in the last 15 years. Only three horses have won the Belmon Stake since 2010. The betting favorite has trotted into the winner’s circle just four times in that time. Nine of the past 20 Belmots went directly from Churchill Downs to Bel mots. Only 3 Preakness St. winners have come back to win the race since 1990. Six of last Fifteen Bel Mots had never won a graded stakes race.

Only three horses since 2010 have won the Belmont Stakes. Most of the last 15 Belmon Stake winners were within 4 1/2 lengths of their rivals after the first half-mile. Only three Preakness Staking horses have come back to win the race in the past 20 years.

The 2022 Belmont Stakes is the final leg of the Triple Crown. There will be no Triple Champion this year as Rich Strike skipped the Kentucky Derby and Early Voting skipped Preakness. Oddsmakers have We the People as the 2-1 favorite to win the Bel Mont Stake.

Mo Donegal is racing from the No. 6 post position in the Belmont Stakes. The colt placed fifth at the Kentucky Derby and won the Grade 2 Wood Memoria at Aqueduct in April. He finished third at Grade 3 Holy Bull Stake in February.

Rich Strike was the dark-horse winner of the Kentucky Derby. He has 7-2 odds of winning the Belmont Stakes. The horse is racing from the No. 4 post position. Blended Citizen won the 2018 Bel Montakes at the same post.

Creative Minister has 6-1 odds of winning the Belmont Stakes. He finished 3 1/2 lengths behind Early Voting at the Preakness. His best Beyer Speed Figure is 100.
