2022 Heisman Trophy odds: Big bet placed on Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara despite Wolverines not yet naming starter
Jim Harbaugh hasn't named a full-time starter at quarterback for the Michigan team this season. Cade McNamara and JJ McCarthy are still competing for that position. Michigan won the Big Ten title and reached the College Football Playoff last season under McNara. He was named third-team All-Big Ten. McCarthy played in 11 games last year. Harbaugh will start him in the season opener vs. Colorado State. Michigan is a 30.5-point home favorite. The team has a new offensive coordinator. Matt Weiss was previously the quarterbacks coach. Sherrone Moore was the co-coordinator.
